Education is the heartbeat of the Hub.
Student visitors will be able to learn and participate in the traditional art of Adire making.
Learning about sustainability through the use of natural dyes and processes is also key.
The Hub also acts as an archive of collected antique fabric and a cultural exchange hub for international students of textiles and fashion.
We accept submissions from emerging, mid-career and senior level artists and scholars all year round (open call).
The residency can accommodate up to 20 students at a time. Each student is provided with his/her own workspace, access to the Hub facilities and all materials and dyes. Sewing machines are also provided.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.
